today stella and i were sitting on the couch talking and twirling each others hair. she looked at my hair and said, "i love your hair, mommy. it's black underneath and golden on top...kind of like an african animal."

ruby is learning to use a spoon - with her oatmeal at least. and stelly is attempting to feed her her yogurt. needless to say, ruby needed bathed by the time stella was done. 🙂 it's the thought that counts.
